Rancho Viejo (Marisco's/Seafood)

Just down the street from the original that serves grilled meats, this lovely palapa -constructed building showcases fresh, local seafood. Best seafood cocktails in town! Save room for their mango cake. Bellasario Dominguez and Manuel Pineda one block up from Abasolo & the Malecon.

La Perla

Classic 'old' La Paz. This restauarant has been a local institution for decades. Lovely patio dining facing the harbor and the Malecon. Popular Mexican cuisine, hamburgers, sandwhiches and seafood. Go easy on the giant and potent margaritas! Right smack in the the middle of it all, can't miss it.

Fresh seafood under a huge palapa on the beach doesn't get much better.  This restaurant has its own clam farm so you know the chocolate clams are the freshest around.  Do not pass up the almejas rellenos (stuffed clams)!

On Morelos between Revolucion and Madero. Great food excellent setting. The menu is very creative with delicious duck.  Large selection of wines and outdoor seating. Clean new and comfortably designed.

Super Burro

Abasolo right before the start of the Malecon.  Fast, Fresh and inexpensive.  Carne asada tacos grilled on open flame with choice of tortillas. Excellent roasted chile salsas, charros frijoles soup (bean soup with salsa) and stuffed potatoes.

Mr. Fish

Fresh fish tacos extraordinaire! This is where the locals go for fish tacos. Last time we were there we had Manta Ray tacos that were killer! Located on the way to the big shopping mall (Soriana's) Look for the bright yellow plastic fish announcing this tasty and reasonable eatery.

Home Cooking

Love seafood and want adventure?  Buy fish at the fish market on Nicholas Bravo.  It is the freshest in town. Prepare it any way you desire at your unit in Casa Republica.  There are several  grocery stores in town  to help you complete the meal.  Aramburo, CCC and Soriana.  Also, don't miss the roasted chickens at the CCC.  Each unit at Casa Republica has adequate kitchen utensils to prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner. Delicious homemade breads and desserts can be found at Panaderia Pan DLes on Madero between Ocampo and Degollado.
